Re: Toilet rings.

I think once you have owned a cat you dont ever want to be without one. Have to be a bit careful as although my dog was brought up with my other cat id have to do it slowly.

Re: Toilet rings.

Wont be for a little while im afraid as we are renting and waiting for the housing market to drop more. We were very lucky and sold our bungalow at the right time. So waiting for the crash. Im sure theres alot of people very worried that there house prices are dropping though. I will wait till in our own home as it was a nightmare just getting the dog and g-pigs in we had to pay extra on our deposit. I also dont want to be moving around with a cat till sorted its not fair on them. There a bit of creature of habits,

I do feel there are a few hygeine isssues so need to look into that. I suppose its ok if you have a spare loo. Is anyone out there training theres to use the loo. Have many of you tried these and how successful are they, Ive seen cats on utube using them and found it interesting. When trained i suppose it would save on the cost of litter and your kitty would never be caught short as long as there is access to the toilet. Any comments. ?
you won't believe this - but yesterday I was out buying some cat food in a local pet shop - one of these mega places. I spotted one of these things, thought about it for a bit, and was going to put a thread up today!

Re: Toilet rings.

I really do like the idea of it but I think you have to train one cat at a time or something and it can take about 6 weeks to do.....that's a lot of toilet training for 8 cats!!

I think I have got so used to litter trays that I don't worry too much now - I use flushable litter so it's not too bad.

Let us know how you get on though if it does work...I know that someone recently posted pics on here of their cat using it so they can be very sucessful!
