on from another topic about litter choices...


those of you who have indoor cats. i have a courtyard with cat fencing that is not huge but a place for lounging and sunbathing. i was thinking about maybe making a little swimming pool or large pan of soil and grass for munching and scratching and digging and if they want i guess the loo!! (might have two different boxes in that case eeew!)

what are your thoughts on this? has anyone else done something similar?

i think a tall pot would be better, so they cant use it as a litter tray

well i have the little cat grass pots round the house but i was thinking more on a large scale like a baby pool or a big long tray of it i suppose i could do a large pot but i'm not sure that would stop them from pooing it. hahah the courtyard i have has a concrete floor so hence the need for some grass. was just an idea lol

they don't need it so to speak but i think some cats like it! at least all mine have.

yeah that too. Trouble just likes veg and leafy things. she eats fruit, beans and grass regularly

i grew some cat mint once they seemed to like rubbing there heads up it

i thought curry plants were used to keep cats out the garden!!! lol you got some rebels on your hands then i guess. lol
