Yeah, I'm with you, Steverags.

Although the advert is nicely edited so that it looks like the cats are relaxed and having fun, I can't be the only person whose blood-pressure went right up at the idea of all those stressed-out and confused cats being allowed to potentially fight with each other, get lost and maybe hurt, and exposed to all sorts of diseases. Those of us who show know (even if thankfully not first-hand) how easily diseases can spread, and how devastating they can be. I wonder if any follow up was done, and how many cats got sick, or injured, or badly stressed?

The 'Go! Go!' part with all the cats being released at one time (as if this wasn't enough, while surrounded by strange people and being yelled at), and not even being allowed to check out where they are before being exposed to so many other cats, really stressed me out, if I wasn't worked up enough already.

I'm really not impressed with IKEA about this. I don't know which ad exec thought this would be a good idea, but I can guarantee that they don't understand cats.

Yes, the final add looked nice, but most of this clip made me cringe. Poor cats.

Oh well clearly my mistake.
My cats would love to play in a huge neutral space, climbing over furniture and chasing each other round. Even with the other cats there.

Well if it's found to be cruel they'll get done I'm sure.

IKEA got 100 cats and let them loose in the store and filmed them running about and stuff.

Ok so thinking about it practically it may not have been the best idea, but I thought it looked cute.
