I'm asking on behalf of my mother in law who adopted two kittens at the same time as us (different breeds).

Unfortunetly she lost the boy kitten last week and the girl is said to be pining alot. Sue (MIL) has been onto another breeder who has two boy kittens of a similar age and she would really like to adopt them to come and live with her female kitten.

I said i'd try and find out some advice on this and whether it could work - any advice is appreciated

Thank you

Its very easy, and a lot easier than introducing adult to adult or even adult to kit. Tell her to go for it

Re: Introducing kittens to kittens

I didn't really give it much thought when we introduced Jasper to Sushi. Sushi was 12 weeks and Jasper was 8 weeks. They kind of jumped up in the air and shot up the curtains, no problem.

We were there supervising all the time but it was as though both appreciated a playmate.

Re: Introducing kittens to kittens

Hi we've just got a new kiteen we already have a 6 and a half month old boy and I'm wondering if there is any advice on introducing them we've been letting them get to know eachother this evening but unsure of how well they were actually doing. At first hed get close ish and hiss and growl after a while shed hiss back and now he doesn't seem to hiss he seems to be following her round and seeming intregued even churrping as he does normally when he's playing or something intrests him and she's being the aggressor when he gets too close for comfort. I'm aware this is only day one but was wondering if we are doing ok or not. Thanks in advance

well intro went great, when my bro brought darcy in he placed him on the floor and lizzy pounced on him, and they've been playing, eating and sleeping together since.
