Re: Votes please - cat furniture choices

out of all the ones i have i quite like the banana leaf one (rob didn't cos he had to help me put it up LOL) xx

but i warn you now, PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS, as you have to make up the top half of some before the bottom half on these things and if you don't they don't fit together (screws tighten different ways etc) and it's then time to take it apart again lol xx

very sturdy too that one cos Angelina was sat right on top of it yesterday and it wobbled but not alot lol xx

Re: Votes please - cat furniture choices

We have recently bought a climber too and like you we looked at several types and in the end we bought one off ebay very similar to the one shown . its a floor to ceiling one and has an adjustable top section to make the whole thing secure, the cats just love it, is great wo watch them chasing eachother and to see them hiding in the box on there, i can only speak from my own experience and say if you bought one of the ones on ebay then you won't be dissapointed im sure. the one we bought was obviously on auction and we paid just £51 including postage, and we have seen them sell for even less than this. Which ever you choose i'm sure you're cats will love it, and as long as they are happy is all that matters, good luck with you're search.

Re: Votes please - cat furniture choices

It really is Mark, he made me get your website up and look through the kitten pictures. I'd made a space in our living room for a climber to go (behind the tv etc) so its not in the way blah blah because I'd already been accused of becoming obsessed haha. Only now Mark wants a) the biggest and best for her and b) thinks it should go right in the middle of our living area. I quote 'watching the cat is as more fun than the tv' and if you'd heard him talking to her in a baby voice last night hahahahaha!!

ps Think he likes your ginger boy, Odin, I like Samhain but still like Solitaire too...have to see how they grow.

Re: Votes please - cat furniture choices

Hi Amy, its a very sturdy piece of cat furniture and as i said the top is adjustable so you can tighten it right up to the ceiling, the one we bought is very similar to the one in the picture and it would be fine for Main Coons, We have 3 adult ragdolls here at at times the 3 of them are on there playing and it doesnt move. ill try to get a pic and post it here for you , good luck ...............Chris.

Re: Votes please - cat furniture choices

We have the one from PAH, they like it and it's pretty sturdy but I wouldn't recommend it for Maine Coons, it's not that sturdy. It's also not that great for playing on, they sleep on it and use it as a scratch post but apart from trying to scratch each others eyes out through the hole they don't really play on it. The others look much better.
