Which one do you have? They all looked so lovely. The only thing tempting me to the ebay one is should we go for cheap and cheerful to begin with and then work out what 'things' she likes on it... Otherwise I'd go for catscratcher.com or the zooplus banana tree one straight away!

Re: Votes please - cat furniture choices

I have one of these Kalven Cat Scratchers from the Pagoda range. I have just replaced the one I had before that one lasted 10 years, the only thing that had gone was the sisal bit.

Re: Votes please - cat furniture choices

When I had to choose for mine, I had to think about base plate size for stability as well as height and variety in terms of platforms, hammocks and levels of landing spots. The other thing is, with the hidey boxes, Coonie boy Harley cannot quite fit comfortably inside one of them. If he feels stubborn, he will squeeze himself in, just to see if he can but its not something I have noticed him doing a lot.

He rather likes playing on our biggest one and on one of the larger, wider ones with a decent sized floor footprint (so that it doesnt topple over when he launches himself onto/off from it).

Good luck in choosing a nice big sturdy climbing tree for your fur-kids.

Re: Votes please - cat furniture choices

Yeah - want some hidy holes in it because she seems to like hiding...think partly it is getting settled but also I guess she is used to the outdoor run. Will show mark the different options from this thread and see what he thinks, I like that one or the ebay or banana tree one I think...so it is narrowed down to three! Unless I consider the handbuilt catscratcher ones but the couple I really like are quite expensive (£180...) compared the the others.

Thanks everyone.
