Calling any Maine Coon owners - Advice Needed Please!

Hello All,

I have two 8 month old Maine Coon cats and they are growing incrediby fast. As a result of this they are outgrowing their tree/activity centre and I´m going to need to buy a new one. The only thing is I am having a really hard time finding one that is suitable for the bulk that is my two beautiful Coons!
Any help would be really appreciated - if you know of where I can buy one specially made for Maine coons that would be ideal!!

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for Taking the time to reply to my post! - I had a look on the site you suggested but unfurtunately the trees are only named after the cat breeds, not made specifically for them ( The search continues!!

Re: Calling any Maine Coon owners - Advice Needed Please!

I have a maine coon called Harley who has been known to join the meezers on the biggest cat tree in the house (i have five at home) - it is from Zooplus and its one of those that goes from floor to ceiling with a large base - he just about fits (if he squeezes) into one of the hammocks.

I do agree though that there should be larger ones for Coonies ... you need to have plenty of space for these cat trees ...

Re: Calling any Maine Coon owners - Advice Needed Please!

completely understand your predicament having a fair few MC's myself (and one girl thats over 7kg on her own!!)

i found the larger trees from zoo plus and from mczoo.co.uk are fantastic - preferably the ones that have larger bottom bits to keep the structure safer xx

i have many many of these in my house which are used on a regular basis and they all handle the weight of a few MC's xx

if you find any you like let me know, i have several different ones and if i have it i can let you know how good it is xx

hope this helps xxx

I have a tree from zooplus which to the ceiling high. Its a good tree but it lasted a few months then it started to get shaky because of the cat weight. We
put plenty addional screws in it and over a year later its still standing here in one bit
