Re: I am now a mummy...
Little bit worried that I have scared her, she was doing really well but last night she was up on the armchair with me and then started walking backwards. Slipped off the seat a bit adn she put her paw forward to try to cling on but clawed into my foot. I yelped a little (not majorly) and moved my foot away (auto-reaction) but since then she has been hiding under the sofa and armchair again although not keeping to the opposite end of the room which is what she did at first.
Rationally I think it is probably normal, just her adjusting and need to give her some time and carry on as we are. I mean noone told her she was about to be moving families did they...But irrationally I want her to be happy and settled straight away (unrealistic human wants I guess). Will let you know how it goes this evening when we get home... x |
