Looking for a good plant based cat litter ...

Can anyone recommend one?

chick crumbs seem to be flavour of the month with some. But see the thread below as there maybe caveats

Wood pellets are another plant based litter.

I'm using Worlds Best at the moment. It's made from corn, so can be flushed.

It clumps really well, the only smell is of corn, and whilst there is still some tracking it's not anywhere near as bad as the clay based litter we used previously.

The only real downside is the price, but it does seem to last for a good while.

ive had to get an emergency bag of clay litter from the co op today (usually have wood pellets ) my siamese cat is absolutly lovin rakeing it she keeps going back and rakin it some more ................ mad cat !!!!!!!!!!!!!eek:

also i find that plastic storage boxes make good trays as they are deeper and you get less kick out
