I'm a bad mummy..

I am feeling guilty tonight, even though kitten is happily snuggled on my knee as I type

We are decorating just now and earlier I was in the room which is being decorated when one of the kids came in swiftly followed by kitty, I jumped to try to stop the cat because there was paint on the floor, he then jumped too and I ended up knocking him and he bumped his head on the wall . Next time I think I will just let him wander through the emulsion....wish the kids would get to grips with how fast he moves!

Oh don't beat yourself up!
My cats run into things all the time just because they get so scatty.
When they were really little they used to run straight into the patio door thinking they could run through it.

Re: I'm a bad mummy..

i wouldnt worry about it too much,
i punched my ktten on the nose the other day i didnt do it on purpose, i was sitting on the floor and wasnt taking any notice of her, i was watching corrie and u no how u feel something tickle ur hand or arm, well i felt something on me and thought it was a spider so my reaction was to flick it off, but is was the kittens whiskers tickling me so u can imagine her suprise at me lashing out, took about 15mins b4 she would come near me again, but when she did i said sorry and gave her lots of cuddles, she did forgive me, x

Re: I'm a bad mummy..

A different scenario but the outcome was the same.

I let the kittens out into their play pen great no problem until it was time to come back in and Sooty jumped as he thought to get back into the kitchen and head-butted the window. I pointed to where he needed to be and he's been fine ever since but I kicked myself for not showing him before he bumped his face.

These things happen.

Ahhh, bless, don't beat yourself up about it though, kittens get into alsorts of scrapes ect. Mine regularly run across the room after a toy and forget the wall is there, lol.
