Kitten Care - with Albie & Mabel

Hi,

This post is for all those looking for advice and guidance on how to care for their new kitten.

I work for Whiskas, where in partnership with Waltham, we've put together some useful tools, articles and videos tutorials to help you to give your kitten the best start in life. Following our own kittens Albie and Mabel throughout their first year.

Check it all out here.

Thanks,

Seb - Whiskas

I would be interested to know what your 'whiskas' kittens are being fed?

Also, it'd be useful to be able to view the link for more than a couple of seconds before it asks you to log in/register...!

Alot of people on here use whiskas but a lot of people also dont - the ones who have realised it is low in meat content i suspect... hence my question above.

Hi Twins,

The kittens are being fed food from the Whiskas kitten range. We've worked with the Waltham Pet Research Centre to ensure the food is nutritionally balanced and gives them everything they need to grow into healthy cats.

This post was designed to raise awareness of the various tools that we have on the site which can help new cat and kitten owners... you can choose to sign up for the video tutorials free of charge (and receive some offers in the process) or you can access the advice, apps and articles without signing up at all.

I hope this helps,

Seb

Nice videos, but you're a brave one coming here saying you work for Whiskers. I've no problem with the company but lots on here will.

Uh oh!!

Thanks for the message, seriously though I'd really like to keep the focus on the topic of the post... the videos truly are a really useful resource for first time cat owners.

Sorry but surely as a representative of Whiskas you should be willing to be open to other sorts of questions relating to your post - ie food! As isnt food part of kitten care and isnt whiskas a 'food' for cats company??!

Can you give further info on whiskas food - ingredients, meat content etc?

I am sure you think the videos are truly useful for first time cat owners, but so is this website - hence why so many people use it. BUT as a Whiskas rep, i'd still like to hear more from you about your food.

Me too. I'm afraid I got similar responses to their Facebook adoption campaign when I brought up their atrocious animal testing too.
