This is such a hard decision and so depends on your circumstances and the environment you live in.

I have made my decision to let my 2 cats outside (they are Maine Coons though one is very, very small).

Yet today the small one went missing. My worry was she got stuck up a tree which she has done once to my knowledge within first 3 weeks of letting out.

Going round the houses I found out she has done it twice and today she did it again spectacularly!

She was found high up in the next door neighbour but one's apple tree! Been there all day and wasn't showing any sign of coming down!

Eventually had to climb up ladder and man handle her down but it took a good 90 minutes.

Flowers to the neighbour tomorrow, i think!
