Re: Cat Rooms & Homemade Toys

My girls have their own playroom upstairs with plenty of toys and climbing frames.
My boys have their own batchelor pads outdoors, two blocks at 12ft x 8ft fully timber roofed, rubber floored, lined and heated with separate housing in each for a visiting queen.

Re: Cat Rooms & Homemade Toys

My cats (Maine Coons in early 20s (human age)) have run of house except front room and supervised occupacy of computer room because of wires and chewing disasters both to cats and computers.

Computer room is 3rd bedroom and has always been computer room for like 15 years.

They also go out but only while we are in house.

Re: Cat Rooms & Homemade Toys

sounds like kitty paradise , id put lino on the floor and seal it around the edge i think this would be easier to mop down , my cats quite like to mess my shag pile rug so smaller washable rugs may be more practical ,

Well its the rug out of my front room - it was £85 and then I had to move and it doesnt match my colour theme so its just rolled up doing nothing! Just thought it would be snuggly for them...and I dont do anything with it so it no loss to me if they want to claw at it. This isnt a room where they live its a playroom so I dont need to be too practical...its about comfort and fun.

In regards to the lino I think thats a great idea! I never thought about sealing around the edges! Sometimes your mind reaches a point and wont go beyond lol.

Thanks! x

Question Re: Cat Rooms & Homemade Toys

Hi just a thought
my cat loves playing with any kind of spring
or anything that bounces back to her
so you could have some very long springs from the ceiling?
