It's not true but they do enjoy feline company, dosn't have to be another siamese.

It is best, with any breed, if they're to be alone to have a friend. If they are alone it's best that you're home most of the day.

Cats that go out it's different as they can make their own entertainment.

Cats will only be destructive because they are bored, not to be nasty.
