Each litter is different, but I put kitten biscuit down from 2/3 weeks, usually mam will eat it, but they take an interest. Around 3/4 weeks I start putting tiny bits of meat in their mouths just to try. This litter I have here were fully weaned by 5 weeks, eating everything I put down, they've even been pinching the adults biscuits and they have big Maine Coon kibble amongst their biscuits, lol

Some of our kitts were of their own willing weaned from just over 3wks and some take a little longer but usually when 1/2 start showing interest the others feel like their missing out and join in-though i find you always get at least one softy/lazy furmuffin-but you get such high when you see them eat for the 1st time and i get excited when i start seeing the odd turd-coz it's like aaahh they're growing up into proper kittens sooo fast

Ours are little****'s at the minute

Sorry little darlings are well in full kittenarmy mode-biting,lambing ans crabbing and playing....bless and it's hilarious to watch when they try to convince you that they are as big and as scary as t-rex-we just don't see that
