Silent Heats
Does anyone know if Silent Heats involve the cat rubbing against things and rolling on her back, being very nice even though she normally does this ?
No calling but lots of the above from around 6 months onwards ? Could these have been silent heats rather than an overly affectionate cat ? Which I thought/think I have.

Does she assume the 'position' if you stroke or touch her near the base of her tail ?

Could be then. I have never had a silent caller unfortunately
 . The closest is one that doesn't really miaow just sounds like a squeeky wheel going round and round

If she is then that's it's my fault for starting a thread about infertile cats etc!
