Really strange question?
Hope you don't mind me asking a really strange and random question but I am in one of my thinking days lol.
Basically I wondered if it was possible to UN - register a cat. So lets say for example that I breed a kitten and register with GCCF on active /non-active, dosn't really make a difference. Can you ever un-register that can and remove them from GCCF records if you wanted to? To make it like they were never registered in the first place for example? I know it's a strange question as there really is no reason why you would ever want to, at least none that I can think of but the question came up during a chat with my OH and I didn't know the answer. Thanks

I am sure you can transfer the cat out of the GCCF so they are no longer governed by GCCF rules to say move them to TICA - for a fee of course.

Yes I thought that also but the question was more can you remove them from all registry.
So could you remove them from the GCCF records and NOT move them to TICA? I'm having a bit of a strange debate with a friend, I was talking about how if you purchase a GCCF registered cat you effectively agree toa bide by their rules and she asked if a new cat owner did not want to adide by the rules could they remove the registration. It's very confusing and I couldn't really answer but I would assume once they are registered that record is always there.

I would assume yes, because you would then have to physically import them into another registry, if you didn't do that bit they would be registry-less
