Question Recommeded Books...

If a person was considering breeding
Are there any books you would recommend they read?

Re: Recommeded Books...

Robinson's genetics for catbreeders and Vets-4th edition As long as your brain is better equipped for processing written info than mine(which is a lot to ask of another but...)then will make for great reading and intrigue you to learn as much as you canGood to read with ice-scream tooLOl

Oooohh - Books that go well with Ice Cream - I like...

Think I may have to start keeping notes from this site - interested in genetics but can be a bit of a headache getting your brain round.

I love books though - mine get destroyed with post it notes all over though

Well it's a great book if your wanting to get into breeding-but i found it a lot to take in-my 1 remaining braincell won't be pushed,no matter how persistant i ambut it's wanna them books that you can put down before you mame someone close to you with it or worse and then pick up once ice-scream takes effectJust for a lighthearted and practical read-cat confidential-beautifully written and not to many really big words-a plus for me

Re: Recommeded Books...

I've found 'The complete book of cat breeding' by Dan Rice really useful. Covers lots of topics.

However it would seem that no book is as good as the help & advice you receive from the very helpful people on here - to which I am very grateful.
