Pursonal Touch used to sell that. I think reading as much as possible is a definite must. However, most books I have read on birthing issues make things sound very black and white, like if your cat doesn't do this within this time get to a vet etc, but reality is very seldom like that and the cat is just doing everything in their own time in their own way.

Wow you were lucky that sounds like a perfect text book birth to me
apart from the waters breaking on your shoulder. I wish my first cat birth experience had been like that.

It was a fantastic experience but a shock as everything I'd read seemed to imply they'd be a show or waters up to 48hrs before active labour
