Thank you. He is such a dear little thing it will be a real pity if we can't get him well, not to mention the issues for the rest of my cat family.

Well, I have Gordon home, much improved. The tests for FIP indicated that it wasn't that (corona titre 160, can't remember the AGP reading but the lab said it was unlikely to be dry FIP anyway). Besides, Gordon started to improve as soon as they put him on Potassium and right now he is not as good as he was this morning because his next dose is due, the vet said. So it looks very much like hereditary hypokalemia.

I caught up with this thread again, I was thinking of Gordon today. I read up on it, hopefully he will become stabilised & his potassium levels return to normal and he will be fighting fit!
