Originally, I typed up this huuuuge post explaining way too much.. But really the title says it all!
Come January I will be fostering a pregnant cat and I'm SO excited to witness a cat give birth for the first time, and foster her babies until they are large enough to be adopted.
I have to wait until January because a new semester of school starts then and my parents want to be sure that it will be manageable. (Having fostered a litter of 5 kittens before, as well as their mother, and at the same time housing my own cat, I know it won't be a problem.)
I'm an aspiring vetrenarian and also a huge cat lover, and I think this would be an amazing experience.
Well I guess I did end up typing a long post again.. But I can't help it.. I'm just so excited. I'm also keeping my fingers crossed that a pregnant cat actually comes into the shelter.. (I used to work at a local shelter and now I volunteer there)
I just thought I'd share it with you guys. I'm already preparing, (I have a nice, big, yet very private box that I'll use for the mother to give birth in!) and I just can't wait!!
