Re: advice needed please

ok perhaps the sign is not exactly "GOOD" but it indicates that perhaps she is pregnant.

Kittens are reasonably robust for picking up so long as you don't squeeze them too hard - they'll soon yell out if they feel uncomfortable.

As for handling the queen, I thinks she is safe to pick up until she starts to show a bump on either side and then I would probably resist handling her too much. It is possible to pick up your queen if you need to, do so gently - just dont grab her round the middle.

Not sure if I understood and hope my reply is appropriate ...

Re: advice needed please

It is very daunting the first time around Kate but it will honestly be fine. You'll find that you will be more stressed than your girl is

Welcome to the board by the way

Re: advice needed please

Hi Kate

Hope my original thread has been of some help. It isn't as scary as you may think. My Chicken is quite small - compared to my other 3 cats she is about half their size and managed things no problem after the first babe was born.

As soon as things start to happen, post here and like I was, you'll be talked through everything if you are worried.

Best of luck and I am sure things will be ok.

Hugs to you and your mum cat xx

Best of Luck

It's very exiting and a lovely experience to be a part of. I'm sure your cat will be fine but you will worry like mad - or at least that's what I did
