yep , see where you are coming from - just me being the pedantic teacher - i.e why teach anything twice cos it is taught only partially correctly the first time (and potentially caused confusion) when once is only that little bit harder to teach it properly - (this is in general terms about anything in life - not this thread. Hopefully the OP will have learnt a bit about genetics and the terms that are used correctly and colloquially and that we can disagree and still remain on civil terms. Nice to have my brain used a little today! Thanks.

You're welcome Mine too needs a workout now & then... and I go back to Roy Robinson when he was the God of all genetics, even met him on a few occasions when he was still with us. So maybe it's just me, not keeping up with the times
