I have the exact same thought, i recently got a little boy, he is apparently just a moggy, but i am sure he has something oriental about him, looking at your pictures, he looks very similar to your kitten, mine is 3 months old, but he is huge, he weighs 2.5kg already, i also have a little girl from a different litter, the same age, weighing only 1.69kg, just seems very odd!! i have posted a few pictures for you to see (they ere taken about a month ago now so he is quite a bit bigger), have you found anymore information about what breed yours may be?
(he also, purrs alot and has an extreamly long tail and long legs just like you mentioned)

i have a cat very similar,
her mum was pure white and she was the only grey tabby. i had a tradesman come to our house one day and he has had alot of cats and knew lots about them, when he saw her he asked me what bred she was and me not knowing just said she was just a normal moggie kitten. he said that she looked oriental as she was quite large for her age and lean, she has very as he put it perfect shaped large ears and a long gated heart shaped face. but ill put up some pictures for you all to see as I am still not sure. http://i558.photobucket.com/albums/s...0500_20359.jpg http://i558.photobucket.com/albums/s...0500_20360.jpg http://i558.photobucket.com/albums/s...0500_20362.jpg http://i558.photobucket.com/albums/s...871888779l.jpg first two are from the previous owner third is from the day i picked her up around 8 weeks old she still had the bluish eyes. forth is when she was 6month. her eyes are now same color as Cat_Crazy's cat. ill add a picture of what she looks like now when i can take one. anyway let me know what you all think. she is 9months now and unfortunately she is having kittens so would be nice to know if she is a cross breed.

She may have a foreign type cat way back in her pedigree, but I wouldn't say she looks like a siamese or oriental cross from the pictures, although it is impossible to tell. I would have expected her face to be longer and less round in her kitten pictures if she was a direct cross, even if she lost that look as she got older. To an ori/siamese breeder owner her ears do not look large
 I was reading something on another board the other day that stated that coat colour, pattern are the same across all cats and the physical appearance of a certain breed is all down to a combination of polygenes. On that basis, any mating could throw the odd combination of polygenes that could give a kitten with slightly larger ears or slimmer build than his/her parents or the rest of the litter. It doesn't necessarily mean that those physical attributes are down to a cross mating.
