She has been lying in travel cot today - she hasn't been there previously - that is in kitchen so much better and quieter than living room. I did not plan to close the cage just keep it open like another box - I have draped sheets over it so it looks less intimidating - thought it would be safe for kittens - do you think it will stress her if it's open like that?
Anyway she will chose I suppose and not use if she doesn't like it. I will just have to fit me and the kids in with what she wants for now as she is my priority.

Re: New Member and Question

I know exactly how you feel as I hadn't been through this either. She may want you with her, Nala certainly did and needed a lot of reassurance as she too is small and only about a year old.

Everyone on here gave me great advice, mostly just to stay calm and let it happen. Its all good stuff they are saying again, so good luck and I'm sure you will do just fine! Keep us posted

Re: New Member and Question

Jeez, that is one scary horse! I lost my confidence about 10 year ago when I broke my collar bone on a little 14.2 shite that I had! A 7 year old kid bought him for cross country! No nerves the littluns!

Re: New Member and Question

He is actually a complete sweetheart. I had a dreadful experience 4 years ago, horse reared over backwards with me and I got my confidence back on my Finnish horse Dino. Although he is big he is so gentle and I have never been scared. Having a pacemaker can't afford to be stupid!
