You're right there about those instincts. Although I have no kids apart from furry ones, it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life being with Nala when she had her kittens.

Re: Lursa due on 16th May

Well Lursa has been giving birth, one day late. Unfortunately the first one was stillborn at around 10:15am, the next was breech at around 11am but we managed with Lursa pushing and Tracy pushing to get him out OK. The next one came after around 20 mins and was also breech however this one came out easier. The following one came out normally, again around 20 mins later. Then after another 2 hours, at around 13:45, another one came out normally. We have had to cut the cords apart from the first breech which broke.

We think there is still one to go although it doesn't appear to be moving. So, we have four little babies...so far. I'll post an update later.

This is a nightmare!

Re: Lursa due on 16th May

It looks as though Lursa has finished, it seems we were wrong about there being another one as we can't feel anything now. So she has four babies. Considering she's only just over a year old she's doing OK as a mum

I've attached some early pictures, we think they're all brown spotted.
