Re: opening of eyes??????????

I thought it was 7-10 days also.
maybe he is just very forward and knows he will get the best nipple if he can actually see it.

Re: opening of eyes??????????

Hi kitties, I'm sure I mentioned this in another post! So many kittens born it's hard to keep track

4 days opening eyes isn't weird or unusual, just early but nothing to worry about. Siamese kittens can occasionally be born with open eyes, and in the early days about 100 years ago, these were put down, as breeders thought they would be blind! Of course they aren't, and I've had the odd kitten opening its eyes as early as 3 days. They often take one look at the world and close them again for another few days, and have completely normal eyesight.

Moggies have such a mix of genes from all over the place, that it's not surprising you sometimes get very precocious ones like your lad.

the two tabbys are going to my next door neighbour so ill get to see them all the time!

were keeping Tango I think (when I say I think if not Tango will be Skunk, cos I want a boy, but Tango has had my attention from day 1) I had to bottle feed Gizmo, cos it was losing weight but its a little girl, and ive got my heart set on a boy, but we will see as they get bigger, my neighbour likes Tango and the tabbys so she wont mind either way.

and Peppa is going to a lady I know from school.
