Exclamation I think she's starting....

Hi, i was on last week about my kitten Summer being pregnant and she was due on Wednesday at the earliest, well, i think shes starting. She was lying on our bed a few hours ago and my partner noticed that the blanket was wet, now shes leaking quite a lot but doesnt seem to be cleaning herself, is this ok? I think its just because shes a first time mum she doesnt know whats happening. I have her box ready and everything and shes keeps jumping in and out and have the heating on and dim lighting. Any advice on the laking situation? Thanks

As long as the fluid coming out is fairly clear and not smelly, keep a close eye on her,she might want you to be near her, good luck!

Re: I think she's starting....

My girls wont settle to give birth unless i lay next to them, when she starts pushing, dont let her go longer than an hour ,if nothing starts to come out after then you will need to consult a vet.the whole process can be quite long with anything up to an hour inbetween babies, keep us posted, good luck!

Hi everyone, its 2am now but Summer had her first kitten at 12.57am, its all white apart from a smokey tail and a smokey patch on its eye, so cute. Think that there is def at least one more in there, should the contractions not have started again? Thanks x
