It will help me with inspiration for mine...............

I already have a few ideas but nothing that I have my heat set on

I got completely pickled on red wine one night and made a list of about 20 names.

My imagination must be much better on red wine, as when I came to look at the list the following day managed to pick out 12 that actually werent too bad. Luckily got to keep my first choice too.

So there you go lass, get pi**ed and let your imagination run riot, lol

Its really hard isnt it? Especially when you will be keeping it forever!
I have been racking my brain for weeks.
I thought I had one (and even reserved the domain name on the net) but its too close to someone else's and I doubt they would let me have it.

I tried to do an anagram on my name but that didnt work!

We picked Elmstar Bengals because we live in Elm Park and liked the sound of Elmstar.

The trouble is the GCCF wouldn't let us register Elmstar Bengals because they don't allow breed names and said that Elmstar was too close to another one so we're sticking with TICA who allowed us the name we chose.

We've registered another prefix with the GCCF in case anyone is particular about having a cat registered with them, and because they wouldn't have given us our full fee back, but I doubt we'll use it.

My oh picked ours as it was the name of a house he lived in as boy and so holds a lot of great and happy memories for him and as this was his hobby 1st-i agreed and it suits us sirSaffron make sure you have 3/4 backup names in case you don't get your 1st choice

I was told to send a list of at least 10 in order of preference just to be sure, because it takes so long anyway you dont want to start going through the whole process over again

I think I have found one! I was just browsing the internet and saw a word and adapted it.

Lets hope the GCCF let me have it..................

Mines Saikou, its Japanese and is supposed to mean supreme. Well thats what the online translator came up with anyway I breed siamese and orientals so wanted something from the East that was shortish - plenty of room for names. I just put lots of words into the translator and picked the ones I liked best. It was my first choice, but after I sent it in I went off it and preferred another one Sods law I got my first choice but I like it again now

Thats an excellent idea. I have been doing the same sort of thing - thinking of words i like and translating them to see if i like the new word!
