I think the average is around 5, but I've known one person's cat to have up to 9.
I think you'll be able to tell if there are any more by the way mum's acting.
I'd say just keep an eye on her.
I think there is an average of 15 minutes between kittens, but the gaps can be much larger.

hi all. i came in at 7.30pm to find kiara had had 3 babies. she had her 4th at 8:10pm while i was there. i dont know if theres any more to come but she is content and has eaten had a drink and is now nursing her babies. she has 2 girls, both torties with a little white, and two boys, 1 ginger and 1 black with a touch of white on his face. they are stunning and i am feeling so proud. it was worth the wait. seeing the 4th kitten born was an amazing experience. i am going to leave her to rest now and will weigh them and post piccies tomorrow. thanks for all your replys. xx

Oh I am so pleased for you. Sounds like she had some stunners, can't wait to see pics of them.
Twinkle is still holding on can't wait for her to have them.
