Re: mummy to be. x
Thats the bare minimum time that is recommended between litters for exceptional circumstances ie a queen has been calling incessantly and has to be mated for health issues, it is not a general rule of thumb!

Re: mummy to be. x
Still no signs of labour but i can see them moving now. Her other litter went in to be neutered today and everything went well. i can pick them up after 4. Vet advised not to bring her in as it can be stressful in the later stages so its still all about guessing. does anyone know of a vet that does call outs? x

Re: mummy to be. x
Why would you wish to call a vet out? Not being nasty just thinking of £££££££.
Are you worried about her? I may have missed something with all the strange remarks on this thread but is she not just pregnant? and you are waiting? |

Re: mummy to be. x
You will be fine. Vets can vary in prices and call-out fees. Perhaps you could phone your local vet and let them know you are a wee bit anxious and ask if they would call-out should you need them to?

if she has not had her kittens yet ..confine her to one room keep her calm and give her a box to sleep in make it dark put a cover over it but make sure you can get in to help her ..get some incontinant pads for her to lie on so you can change them quickly once kittens come and its a waiting game unless you want to take her to the vet ...its approx 65 days from mating good luck ..she will be fine remember to have some scales so you can weigh the kittens every day to make sure they are getting enough milk...g
