Re: weaning

4 weeks is fine to start weaning but some babies wont be ready, so dont make them?
Tuna is not as good for them so only give as a treat some kittens will get a dicky tum on tuna and they may not want to eat anything else once you start with the tuna

Re: weaning

We have some who are 5 weeks old and still won't eat. Mum's still happy feeding them so I'm not too worried but I wish they'd start!

Anyone got any ideas?

Re: weaning

My last lot would not wean till they were nearly 6 weeks (after numerous attempts to try).

Heres some things for you to try:

1) Mix of scrambled egg with evaporated milk mixed in (warm and sloppy)
2) Mashed up wet kitten pouches
3) Pilchards in tomato sauce or brine

See how you get on with those.
