pregnant cat - what to expect
I am considering fostering a pregnant cat, and subsequent kittens for a local animal rescue and would like some advice on what to expect, good research sources etc so I can judge if this is something I can handle or not
Any help/advice would be much appreciated Thanks

Some things to ask yourself
Do you have plenty of time? Can you take time off work if need be? Read up all about the birth and complications and about young kittens. I am sure everything will be plain sailing but best to know what to do when things go wrong. You should get some support from the rescue if necessary though. There are quite a few breeders on here too, to lend advice. Do you have other cats? If so then there could be a lot of issues, fighting - as pregnant/delivered girls can get very territorial also there is the risk of infection to the kittens from other cats/dogs Could you keep them totally separate from other animals if need be?
