Rosie's Overdue + Photos

Well, my girl is approximately a week overdue and tomorrow I'll be taking her to the vet. Not sure what he'll do or how long they'll let her continue. She is showing no signs of labour - apart from nesting for the last 3 weeks.
She let me take these photos before - her bald patch is from the ultrasound (her skin is so warm and soft there - I wish I could shave all her fur off )

She's got her head on her favourite cat slipper that she pads with her feet and pretends to drink milk from

I'll update after the vets tomorrow...

They certainly look imminent - are you sure of your dates?

If she's not a pedigree how are you aware of the exact dates of mating?

im sorry but i think thats a bit rude... just because shes not pedigree by no means means that she doesnt know when her cat mated.

if you saw the previous posts shes made, she obviously saw the mating as she knows which cat is the father of them.

Re: Rosie's Overdue + Photos

That pussy looks seriously pregnant. Me thinks there may be either some large fur babies inside her or quite a few little ones.

Good luck; Piccies of the new kittens when they arrive please.

Rude or not I can't assume there were not other accidents that she was unaware of at the time I don't know the person. Even in pedigree matings that are supervised there is usually more than one mating and you can't necessarily be sure of the exact due date. It's usually give or take 5 days in or out of the first, second or even third mating.

Who's to say this tom hadn't been in the house previously without her knowing? or that her cat had been out the cat flap and met with any other cats!?

Commentary on the internet is all well and good but you can't really trust every story on here to the letter. I merely asked a question of how she new the exact date of mating.

Because it's a moggie, it's to be assumed it was an accidental mating, which usually means no one is quite sure of the exact date of mating. Common knowledge. Not meant to be derogatory.

and just to add, it's also possible that the original pregnancy pseudo pregnancy and the actual mating was later than she expected.
