Re: Help Again ASAP Please

Apparently my first girl mover her first litter into the airing cupboard, carrying the first one by its leg. My parents were kitten sitting at the time and were so horrifed they moved the rest of the litter for her. She was a real pain, when the kittens were two days old she moved them into my bed, wouldn't take no for an answer, and I ended up sleeping on the floor.

But the worst of all was her daughter - one hot summer when I had all the upstairs windows open, and the cat flap set to in only so that Abgical couldn't escape with her kittens, I came home to find the kittens had vanished. Eventually found them over the back fence in a field. The cat flap was still set to in only and was undamaged and no downstairs windows were open. She must have jumped out of an upstairs window with each kitten and then come back in through the cat flap for the next one. Horrifed wouldn't describe it!

Liz

So it seems that this is quite a regular thing then!? Daisie seems to have settled with them now in the original nest. Although every now and again she goes on an explore around the house as if she is looking for another spot for tomorrow!

Daisie seems to be leaving one kitten out the small black one. He doesn't seem to be as strong as the white ones. She is licking him a lot. Do you think there is something wrong with him and the moving thing was all part of it, her trying to tell us something?

Smile Re: Help Again ASAP Please

My girl kept moving just 1 kitten to various locations and I worried about the others and moved them for her. One time I thought to wait and see what she did with the others and after some time she did move the rest of the litter by herself. She finally settled in the laundry room.

Not so far as the 3 white ones have already more than doubled in weight and are only a week tomorrow. The little black one is just under double his weight. He seems to be doing better today and seems to be holding his own better in the scrum for a place to feed.

We have the milk and feeding equipment here just in case we need to step in.
