food question

not sure what title to put to this really
my girlie is pregnant and would say about in her 6th ish week
she is wanting to eat everything but her food, which she will lick/nibble at then leave (got her on kitten food as advised by the vet)

she just stole a crumpet out of my daughters hand and ate what was left
she is in the kitchen like a shot as soon I go in there to cook and will be very forward in stealing anything she can like she is starving
yesterday she ate cucumber
she is booked in next week for a check up and to start worming, is this right? I read that you should not worm during pregnancy? but this was the advice of the vet
xxx

Re: food question

Where did you buy her? Can you not ask them? If she was wormed regularly, there's no need to do it while she's pregnant?

Re: food question

MY Queen maybe pregnant, not too sure yet so on advice from the vet I also gave her some kitten food and she turned her little nose up at it! She will eat anything else But Kitten food!

I mixed some in with her adult food & she knew! but she did eat it!

Re: food question

I have tried to contact the lady I bought her off as she said she would send me the mating certificate but cant get through

I didnt want to worm her if there was risk to the kittens but the vet knew she could be and said she could feel possibly two when I took her in
I have been giving her sardines once a week for hair balls which she inhales
then today she stole some pasta and banana bread which I made
its the fact she eats it with such speed anf fight to get to it like she is starving! yet her food bowl will have food in

they do get mince and the odd bit of chicken too
which again is inhaled
