Re: new at breeding so hello

I can't say that I have seen that before and if your vet has looked at it and isn't worried then I would relax a little - you have done the best thing by having her checked out. You should perhaps just keep an eye on it from time to time. Have you mentioned it at all to your breeder? It is always an anxious time when you are due your first litter but try not to get too worried or your girl may pick up on your anxiety.

Hopefully a Bengal breeder may offer more advice.

Re: new at breeding so hello

Hi to you

Funny enough a little while ago there was a discussion on another forum! It seems quite common that queens can have odd nipples some as many as 12 if I remember lol

My Bengal queen has 9 but think I am right in saying that only 8 work so please don't worry it is very 'normal'

Hope that helps to put your mind at rest at least on the nipple side of things!! I wish you the best of luck with your future litter xx

Re: new at breeding so hello

thanks for all your warm welcomes

I did mention it to the breeder and she just said she had seen it and forgot to mention it.

I bought the cat with the intention of breeding her but found after a week or so she was already pregnant
(well her nipples pinked up and are swollen and she is starting to swell/has a slight waddle)
am not sure how far on she is or when they are due exactly

oh did the breeder not tell you this when you purchased her?

Maybe she has an idea of when she may be due
