Calling cat

Hoorah, Minnii is finally in heat again - now just have the 6 hour round trip to do tomorrow to drop her off at the studs and another 6 hours trip next weekend to pick her up again. Fingers crossed she takes this time!

Hope everything goes well for you both - I hate that part, when they have to be doctored.

Re: Calling cat

Have returned after a horrid drive - appalling weather - we stayed a while and within an hour the stud was mounting her so fingers crossed.

Just a question but will a stud mount if a girl isn't in season? (she definately was)

I think keen studs will try but the girl shouldn't let him if she isn't ready.

Sounds promising, glad the journey didn't put her off, only a few weeks to wait to find out

Re: Calling cat

Thank you everyone - I really hope it works this time - she's staying longer this time to try to make sure (8 days) - so should only have a 2 week wait to find out once we get her back. Exciting, nerve racking and so hoping we aren't disappointed again - it's a very long journey to keep doing - luckily she doesn't seem to get too upset and settles very quickly at the end of the journey once she is out of the carrier. Anyway, fingers crossed, wood touched and I might even spray the moggy black for luck (joking)
