What a pretty kitten. I think he's lilac too.. not that it helps, given the mixed opinions here Shades of blue and lilac vary enormously but his points look a little too pale/pinky to be a blue point which I think somebody else here also said.

(I think what Op meant re lynx is that whether the dad was cream or red the tabby markings will even show through on a self - as the red gene doesn't mask the inherent tabby - so hard to tell if tabby or not - however, brick nose, spectacles, butterfly in nose, white edges to ears etc all indicate tabby as well)
