Tilly Update

Hi all

Well Tilly's kittens are now just over the 8 week mark but have had to be separated from Tilly

Tilly has come into season and tried to kill the kittens - Val managed to split it up and the kittens are now crated for their own safety, they have new owners sorted, Val is keeping Ebony and the other 4 are going in 2 pairs - few weeks yet though their owners vist daily

Tilly's booked for spay as soon as season ends

Ebony has had his tests and apart from slight heart murmur and an underbite is healthy so vet confused as to why he's not doing well, we're to just keep an eye on him and hopefully he will outgrow it

Everyone else has had full clean bill of health and Vall has had much praise for their condition Vet's not happy with PMT Tilly though as got bitten for his troubles.

will upload more pics later

Re: Tilly Update

I liked this because at least everything is sorted with them and they're doing well and you're going to post more pics---not because Tilly is trying to kill the kittens.

Thought I'd better clarify that.
spid, MCWillow and marleyboo like this.

Re: Tilly Update

dont neuter her as soon as her call ends, one of my girls came into call the kittens were 7 weeks old, her milk went 'off' gave them all upset tums, so we placed her in the lounge for 3 days, supervised kitten visits + No suckling!
her call ended kittens & mum all happy back sleeping together, so wait for her call to end and she *may* come back round, just dont jump straight into the neuter as you may find hormones gone = back to being mum

glad they are all well, you may also find that its a 'kitten mumour' the blood is a different consistancy so it goes within weeks, we need pics!
