Angry Arrgghhh.....

I must stop looking at these adverts. So, this person has decided they are not big enough for their liking to breed from but is selling them unneutered, so anyone else can breed from them - presume they may have been calling for a while and not yet mated up....don't see anything about being registered. Having said that this person has at least another girl for sale "no papers hence price but anyone who knows Ragdolls can see she is a pedigree" plus some kittens.

Ragdoll Cats-1/2 years Females.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Price:

£150 ovno

Description

I have a couple of Ragdolls I have kept back for Breeding, but sadly have not grown as big as I would like.None have been netured. These are house cats and have never been outside and are use to being part of the family, they all get on well with other cats and dogs. The only reason I am looking to re home is due to space, 5 star homes only for these. All have been flead/wormed and vet checked. Blue females only

Re: Arrgghhh.....

send me the link I offer help and tell her to at least get them neutered before she sells them as if they aren't good enough for her to breed surely they shouldn't be bred from full stop. Can your team help if by some miracle she does take up our offer of help, certainly worth a try otherwise poor babies are going to end up as some back street breeders prize breeding machines

Re: Arrgghhh.....

If they are not big enough for her to breed from they wont suddenly grow into giants for someone else to breed from will they!!!!!!

Spaying isn't expensive so why wouldn't she spay first before selling them, some adverts just make you seethe don't they?

I hate reading ads from BYBs which say they have pedigrees for sale with no papers, no vaccinations etc.

There are also lots of scams who are selling kittens but you never see them, they ask for money up front and they say they have moved, always at the other end of the country from you or even to another country, they steal photos off other breeders and use these to advertise, they say when you have paid for the kitten they will send it by courier...you never see the kitten.

I know this because we answered ads last year for a sphynx...we weren't so naive to part with money, I reported them to the site who let these scammers advertise, I also contacted some breeders and one lady told me how they had stole her photos and used them, she reported it but nothing was done.

They usually advertise Sphynx kittens for as little as £200. So if an ad sounds too good to be true then it probably is.

Some people will be vunerable and part with their cash though, it is digusting how these people operate.

Re: Arrgghhh.....

I strongly hate this too......... I am in the situation where I bought in two girls - neither have turned out suitable to breed from. One girl got pyometra before she was mature enough to mate and has been speyed and rehomed where she is spoiled rotten and I see her regularly and the other girl I am rehoming as she is not yet 18 months and would make a wonderful pet. She will be speyed before rehoming - I would never in all good conscience rehome her unneutered particularly as she is homozygous for curl so will only ever have curly kittens. I would never risk a situation where someone might try breeding her.

Re: Arrgghhh.....

well obviously! I mean £35 neutering a girl?! Why spend that when the new owner could just try and breed them anyway, even if they are to small! not their problem!

THESE are the type of people we need to stop breeding!!!!
