i am doing an assignment as a part of my degree on the breed so i thought i would ask the experts where is the best resources to find out about the breeding and genetics of the breed.

Not sure if there are any Selkirk breeders on here...

I would Google breeders and contact them directly.

Google may even have the info you need without the need to contact anyone directly.

Yep fine :-)

The main breed club site is down at the moment but good sites for info are Rex Cat Club, Rex Cat Association, Tica and Cfa websites and Donna Bass is a mine of info - she is one of the early breeders who worked with Jerri Newman the breed founder.
