Re: cat pregnancy?
Here we go . . . Okay what breed is your cat, how old is she? How long was she at the studs for? How many actual matings were witnessed? Is the stud proven? Did she have all the relevant tests (and the stud) to make sure she and he weren't carrying any STDs which could compromise pregnancy? Not every cat will take every time? And so it is possible she isn't pregnant and so is on call again. If she is a moggy please think very carefully about mating her again to have kittens - the rescues are overflowing at the moment and you could have problems rehoming the kittens. If she is pedigree then your mentor and the stud owner will be able to offer you lots of advise.

Re: cat pregnancy?
i know i didnt think it was planned until my mum informed me she had spoken to the neighbours about breeding the two cats when the little one was older (which clearly didnt happen). they are british short hairs both black. I would prefer it if she wasnt pregnant to be honest as i don't know how my cat will be as she has been actin really weird recently. maybe shes too young as shes only a year? i just want some advice so i can look after my cat does anyone know what the usual price is to get a cat spayed? would that be the best option?

Re: cat pregnancy?
spaying is around £60 sometimes cheaper. Please get her done, she will be a happier cat for it. The costs of raising say 4 kittens will be much more than £50 and you won't be able to get them registered and black cats are the hardest to rehome and that's all you will have with that pairing. Are you sure they are BSH and not DSH?
the reason your cat has changed is because she is maturing and coming into season all the time - if you want your playful, loving cat back get her spayed.

Re: cat pregnancy?
Here you go hun Do you think your cat is Pregnant? Or do you want her to get pregnant?
When you say they are both black BSH ... are they both pedigree's? Only it would be unusual to find neighbours who both have pedigree black BSH, not impossible, but unusual I would have thought.
