My wife and I went down to our local vets this morning to take our 4 rescued kittens in for their 1st injections. Also, one of our other 6 cats needed attention as it managed to get trapped somewhere ( down a rabbit hole or similar) for 4 days and returned home 36 hours ago suffering dehydration etc and damage around it's face where it had being trying to get out of it's collar, so it could have been caught on a fence??
Whilst we were waiting, some expat came in with a kitten, approx 6 weeks old, and just gave the vet the "throat cut" sign, saying to the vet, we have too many cats so put this one down. It was perfectly healthy. The vet was not happy.
This bloke is a total a******e. Due to his failure to get his cats spayed, he is now having a healthy kitten put down.
What is wrong with people? It seems like when expats come out to Spain, the heat pickles what little brains they have, and they behave like "nobby no-brains". Unless of course, it is just the idiots that emigrate ?!?!
So frustrating. Also got cross about the local garden centre next door, selling "handbag puppies" for anything between 550E - 700E, with them being kept in glass cages with insufficient food and water. Amazingly, considering there is a recession on, people are still finding this sort of money to buy these pups! And yes, the people you saw in the "Marbella Babes" series on ITV1 some time ago are alive and still living out here, but that is aanother discussion ! I despair
