Jane Murray is on a distinguished road
Stray/feral cats in the Stoke area (ST1-ST14 postcodes)

A survey of cats in the Stoke area is being conducted by the Bristol University's Animal Welfare & Behaviour Group, with the aim of improving the health & welfare of unowned cats in the area. Local animal welfare charities are helping us to find unowned cats, but we would also be grateful for your help. If you know of groups of stray cats in the area then please get in touch, (contact details below).

Info provided will be used to help us monitor the number of stray cats and to direct a neutering programme run by Cats Protection & the RSPCA. No cat will be put to sleep (unless a vet recommends euthanasia due to ill health). The neutering programme aims to improve the health of unowned cats in the area - by stabilising the population and hence reducing competition for resources such as food.

Thank you,
Jane
