Re: Weaning advice please

At the same age (mine are now 8 weeks), two of them were eating, but only chicken and one of them didn't want any solids until she was almost 7 weeks. They then started eating cat food. Why not try a bit of the tuna/chicken with bits of kittens food as well.

Don't worry though, they'll eventually get use to the kitten/cat food. Mine love it now and also know that I am the food giver!

Re: Weaning advice please

If i catch any of my kittens trying to feed to much from Rosie i put down some food for them. Mine are 8 weeks old on friday so a little older.

Is there a place you can take the kittens away from mum or aunty for some part of the day? Rosie quite often left the bedroom where the kittens were and when she did it was the time i went in to feed them and closed the door so she couldnt get in. After they had eaten i would open it up and the kittens would only feed off her for a few minutes instead of 20 minutes.
