my 2 litters are mixing together is this ok

missy klittens are 1 week old nalas are 4 weeks old and the older ones have decided they want to sleep with the little ones ive even found the older ones feeding of missy and neather of the adult cats seem to mind they seem to take it in turns to watch over the kittens as their is always 1 with them see i made i realy big pen yesterday and both beds and sets are in their so they are safely away from my kids they have loads of room for them to roam about but yes my question is if the adults are happy to share the kittens looking after them and even feeding them should i allow it to go on ive found them feeding echothers kittens and cleaning them and snuggleing uptoeachothers even themalltogether the 2 adults and the 7 kittens the 2 adult cats are sisters

This is very common. The concerns I would have would be 1. that you need to make sure the little ones are getting enough milk and 2. that when the older litter get playful they don't hurt the little ones.

I can't really see any problems, so long as the mums are happy and that they are not rejecting their own/fighting with each other.... have you got anymore pictures?

Only other to consider is that its not good to mix vaccinated and non-accinated kittens, I'd advise waiting till all the kittens are old enough so you can vaccinated them together.

none of the kittens would have been vaccinated as they are 4 weeks and 1 week old litters.

aww how sweet and can't believe how much they change by 4 weeks! Mine have both got eyes open, wobbly walking and can sit up now

sorry I meant when it comes to vaccinating them, you'd have to wait until the older litter was 12 weeks old for thier first vaccination, when its usually done at 9 weeks. I hope nobody would consider homing kittens with no vaccinations.

incidently medivet now offer breeders a discount on vaccinations, I paid around £20 per kitten incl leukemia per kitten, per vaccination, last week. I'm not sure if this would apply to non-pedigree kittens though.

noits nearly £70 for a kitten course of jabs all mine are going to friends who will be paying for their own jabs its allready been discused and im haveing the one im keeping done
