Now i have nothing personal against this woman, except for the men she goes through like socks, or all the cigarettes she smokes, and alcohol she drinks. She was complaining that the kitten was 'going for' her baby son and had to be shut into the kitchen all the time as he wouldn't 'settle'.

Anyway, guess who snapped him up?

Picking him up tomorrow morning. Poor lad hasn't been vaccinated, wormed or anything so i'll pop him into the vets to be checked over and have his 1st vacc this week.

He can't stay but i had to get him away from there, and i'll make sure he's looked after and gets a good home to go to.

My OH has been giving me the evil eye all evening...
Love you for doing that

Re: 'Rescuing' a kitten tomorrow

Oh my he's such a little cutie. Horrid woman who accused him of "going for" her baby. He probably was just trying to cuddle! I don't know how you'll be strong enough not to fall in love with him, but I have a strong suspicion there'll be PF home for him in the end. One of the followers of this thread will certainly find some room to take him in.

Re: 'Rescuing' a kitten tomorrow

Update time

The vets was fine, he's now had his 1st vacc, he was good as gold.

He's the picture of health i expected so that's good.

He is a wee sook and has been sleeping in my bed snuggled in, he just loves it! He also loves his food and is now trying to steal the other cats food which isn't going down well at all.

Socks has really taken a dislike to him and squeals and hisses at him, he doesn't take the hint in the least and keeps trying to play with her, she's so disgusted!

I'm starting to search for a home for him, i think it's much harder to rehome a moggie than a pedigree. Potential buyers don't take well to being 'vetted' for a moggie, it's really irritating! Moggies are cats, just the same, it disgusts me how people undervalue them!!

Re: 'Rescuing' a kitten tomorrow

Don't worry the perfect home will appear, it may take a while, but it'll come. he may be with you for a while but when 'the' person phones up you'll be so glad you held out for the perfect home. Great non-ped homes are out there - lots of them are on this list after all.

Re: 'Rescuing' a kitten tomorrow

Just to update, Reggie has gone to his new home, he left this afternoon and i'm very happy with the home he's gone to

The lady's uncle is a vet so that can only be good, and she has the same values as me which is great.

He is going to be neutered asap

It's already very quiet without him...
