Re: Wanting a Siamese Kitten
Hi Kato, tried to pm you but it said that you either do not want to recieve private messages or are unable to for some other reason.
Would agree with everything said about researching and please be careful with internet classifieds, there are some really unscrupulous people out there, please make sure kitten is at least 13weeks old and has had full course of vaccinations and you get signed pedigree and pink slip, or other registration slip if not GCCF.
Most of the Siamese cat clubs operate a 'kitten list' which is always a good place to start, if you google you should get a good selection of club websites to look at. If you need any pointers pm me your email address and ill send you some links.
In my opinion its best to have the opportunity to see the kittens on a first visit and think it over and decide if you like the breeder and most importantly the kitten...its amazing how often you might need advice and support after collecting your kitten and its always worth waiting for the right kitten from the right breeder.
I have kittens at the moment, and I am pretty harsh on prospective new owners to make sure the kittens go to the right families for them and that my babies are going to permanant homes with people who understand the breed and the committment required - please beware of any breeder who doesnt ask you plenty of questions.
