I've always rehomed adult cats before so having a kitten is going to be a lot of fun and is equally exciting for me. Knowing me though, I will fall in love with a kitten for a quirk that it has

Well, I'm with you on that one! My new show boy is a Polydactyl Maine Coon - I love their big feet I will be showing him as a Ped-Pet as he doesn't meet the Standard of Points. It doesn't matter to me though - I love him to bits

Re: Potential Show Kittens

They changed the vetting in rule recently (in June) so it now just applies to de-clawing. Curly ears, bent tails, funny feet are now all allowed in the HHP section and applies to both Ped-Pets and Non-Peds. It was not widely publicised. Blink and you would have missed it

Like everything in the HP section

Don't publicise it, keep changing colour definitions and moving goalposts and then expect people to know what they are doing.

Yes - they leave a lot to be desired Carol The GCCF are happy to take your money - the same entry fee is charged for pedigree and non-peds but treat HHPs like second class citizens

Re: Potential Show Kittens

He's just coming up to 5 months. He's not got much coat yet but his tail is just starting to fluff up I waited a long time for him - almost three years. He is a total sweetheart and a mummys boy!
